"memories of björn bolssen" is the first album by
vienna-based tupolev. they perform
instrumental compositions between classical music, electro-acoustic and
jazz with glimpses of pop.
the album contains a short piece for piano and
bass, a long piece for bass and electronics, but the central pieces of
the album
are those others where drums (and sometimes cello) join in to add up to
the
actual tupolev sound. sometimes difficult
though persistently beautiful, those songs manage to make up a record
to keep in your heart.
